Doug Pilot
Pastor Doug has a desire to see people learning to choose Jesus over the world. His guiding scripture is Galatians 2:20, “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.” Since Jesus gave himself for us then the least we can do is give our all for him. That means we don’t think, act, or behave as the world does, but rather as 2 Corinthians 5:17 says, “If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” Pastor Doug seeks to help all people understand that the evidence of truly believing in Christ Jesus, is a changed life.
In addition to leading the youth at New Hope, Pastor Doug serves as the Church Planting Catalyst for the Western Region of the Pennsylvania/South Jersey Baptist Association

Zane Dempsie
Zane is one of the Pastors/Elders of New Hope Baptist church. Zane and Laurie have been married for 27 years and have 4 children, Zana, Ethan, Zoran, and Aria. They have been attending New Hope since 2013. Zane graduated from Edinboro University in 1994 with a Bachelor’s degree. Zane then worked in the social services field for 15 years. Zane felt God calling him into full-time ministry in 2008. At that time Zane left his secular job and became a missionary with Open Air Campaigners. Zane has been on staff as a missionary with Open Air Campaigners for 15 years and is currently the Director of Central PA branch. Zane has a desire to share the gospel with the lost and to equip others to do the same. He is honored to serve as one of the Pastors for New Hope and prays that God will bring an increase to those who fellowship at New Hope as they desire to reach the community for Christ.
